Echo Fine Arts, in partnership with Un Moment BARNES – Come Prima in Mougins, is pleased to present a new edition of La Famille, a pop-up solo exhibition by French photographer Alain Laboile. The exhibition will be on view from October 17, 2025 to January 3, 2026, with an opening reception in the presence of the artist on Friday, October 17, 6–8 PM.
Featuring newly released images alongside iconic works, La Famille invites audiences to rediscover Laboile’s intimate, timeless vision of family life. Using his Leica Q + 28mm, the self-taught photographer captures the joy, chaos, and poetry of childhood in black and white, creating a universal testament to freedom, connection with nature, and the passage of time.
Through his six children, Laboile crafts a unique family cosmogony, a visual poem where the rustle of leaves, splashes of water, and whispers of curiosity become a powerful narrative. His work offers a quiet, instinctive immediacy, resonating far beyond the personal.
Laboile has established himself in the French and international photography scene, receiving the 2019 Global Peace Photo Award for La Dispute, the HiP Prize for Best Youth Photography Book, and inclusion of 32 prints in the French Museum of Photography’s permanent collection.
