"This piece was inspired by da Vinci's the Last Supper. A plague of rats move toward the dinner table. Nothing is left on the table but a piece of cheese that a woman is holding up, at which rats are sneaking. Using the image of rats and their stereotypical favorite food, cheese, this work is to depict the world where we have to compete for limited resources to survive. In another context, cheese implies the positive whilst rats stand for the negative."
_LEE JeeYoung
