In Nightmare, the figure is compared to a magnet, drawing in paper clips—objects designed to hold things together but also irresistibly attracted to magnets. These clips symbolize the constant, tangled challenges we face in life. As they hover near the figure, they represent the heavy burdens we are forced to bear. The piece reflects how, despite our efforts to keep things together, life’s complexities and struggles continue to attach themselves, pulling us deeper into their grasp.

____
