"Sometimes, inspiration finds us in the most unexpected places, like magic that suddenly takes hold of our hands and eyes, making us see the world differently. An idea can arise from the simplest things, from the mundane routine that seems uninteresting or ordinary. Suddenly, you notice the pattern on the surface of a coffee cup, the play of light and shadow, or the unusual texture of objects. That’s when the inner photographer starts to act – tapping you on the forehead and suggesting, „Look at this from a different angle, remember this moment.“

The simplest object can become the subject of the most stunning photograph. The key is to learn to see something extraordinary in the ordinary, to be able to explore the world around you with the curiosity of a child.
Most people to whom I’ve shown this still life did not recognize the „models“ in the picture. Some saw a flock of penguins, others saw people in a church.
And what do you see in the image? Where does your imagination take you?

The picture was taken with my Chamonix F2 large format camera on Kodak 4x5inch Tmax 400 film and I developed it in our darkroom as a handmade #platinumprint on Hawagashi paper."
