This bent spoon was given to me by Swedish physical medium Anders Åkesson. An entranced Anders handed it to me after it appeared on the table between us during a séance.

Anders and I met in England as he was rebuilding his career after a serious fall from grace. He had been caught using a fake hand during a séance, and the scandal destroyed his reputation. Banished from the mediumship community, he fell into deep depression — before deciding to move forward by speaking openly about what he had done.
