This portrait was taken during The Wall – Live in Berlin. Performed and organized by Roger Waters from Pink Floyd, it also included numerous guest artists, among which Sinéad O'Connor who performed "Mother". The show was held in Berlin on 21 July 1990 on vacant terrain between Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate, a location that was part of the former "no man's land" of the Berlin Wall in order to commemorate its fall eight months earlier.
