FRANÇAIS CI-DESSOUS
Once a month, Sharon Harvey converts her living room into a séance space for her home circle. She needed a device that could easily be put up and taken down. The cabinet shown here is made of panels of black fabric that cover a skeleton of thin copper water pipes—a design conceived by Sharon’s plumber. When I asked what he thought of the unusual commission, she replied, “Oh, he loved it! He’s a Spiritualist.”
