Echo Fine Arts is proud to present Le Regard de mes Rêves, a solo exhibition by Peruvian artist Cecilia Paredes. The exhibition brings together 15 recent photographs presented across the gallery’s two-floor space, alongside an immersive, site-specific installation created especially for the exhibition.

For more than three decades, Paredes has explored themes of belonging, displacement, identity, and humanity’s relationship with nature through photography, performance, and installation. In her celebrated “photo performances,” the artist uses body painting and elaborate staging to merge her figure with richly patterned floral, vegetal, and animal backgrounds inspired by textiles and wallpapers. At once concealed and revealed, her body becomes part of the landscape, evoking the complex relationship between self and environment, presence and absence, home and exile.

With Le Regard de mes Rêves, Paredes invites viewers into a poetic meditation on belonging and our place within the natural world.
